#DescendantsOfTheSunPH sets Twitter buzzing with excitement and kilig

As the local adaptation of the hit Korean drama, Descendants of the Sun, finally hit the Philippine airwaves, Filipinos expressed their sentiments on Twitter about its most-awaited pilot episode. International fans of the phenomenal K-drama also set their eyes on the Filipino adaptation with #DescendantsOfTheSunPH landing in the top five on worldwide trends.
With entertainment being the key conversation driver in the Philippines and the fact that Twitter is home for K-culture conversation, we are excited to partner with GMA Network to launch special emojis for the popular series. Fans were even more excited in Tweeting the official hashtags #DOTSPh, #DescendantsOfTheSunPH, #LucasManalo, and #MaxineDelaCruz that took over the trending topics in the Philippines. The emojis will be live until May 2020.

With the first encounter of #LucasManalo and #MaxineDelaCruz, viewers shared their excitement on how the romance develops.
