Lots of great video campaigns for you in this month’s creative roundup and an incredibly diverse lineup to boot. You lucky people. We have strong uses of Conversational Videos, Live Video, TV commercials and the power of our like to remind feature.
@PepsiMaxUK
From @PepsiMaxUK a chance to win a pair of @ChampionsLeague Cardiff Final 2017 tickets. For this campaign, it combined Twitter’s Like to Remind functionality with Conversational Video. Perfect result.
At the start of April, Lloyds Bank launched its new TV campaign that saw the return of its iconic black horse. It launched a version of this ad on the platform highlighting how brands can take their video content further with Twitter. And who didn’t love the use of the classic ‘Praise you’ sung by up-and-coming artist Hannah Grace.
Two notable uses this month of our new Like To Remind functionality. First from @NatGeoUKFox to drive tune-in for its drama “Genius” about the life of Albert Einstein.
Ahead of the launch of the new Alien movie, #AlienCovenant, @20CenturyFoxUK, used Retweet to Remind to offer reminders and personalised content. Your very own Alien scares.
@VirginMedia
Another neat example here of video best practices from @VirginMedia showing how you take your TV commercial to Twitter. Also highlights how brands are taking advantage of First View on Twitter.
Lots going on with @SamsungUK. The brand promoted an exclusive Live 360 Video using Periscope Producer of a secret gig by British rock duo Royal Blood in London as part of its #UnboxYourPhone campaign for the new Galaxy S8. It followed that up the next day with a Promoted Trend.
And finally it was #edballsday on Friday, and we think @VirginAtlantic nailed it with this Tweet.
