Burberry is broadcasting its September 2017 show live on Twitter. The live stream is available through the Heart to Remind feature: When a user ‘likes’ the Tweet, they receive a notification alerting them to tune in on Twitter.
Burberry’s live partnership with Twitter is another great example of the luxury brand using latest video innovations on the platform. Twitter allows people on the service to watch live content while engaging with the conversation surrounding the event.
Julia White, Head of Fashion Content Partnerships, at Twitter UK, said: 'Twitter is about what’s happening and @Burberry is yet again placing itself at the very heart of the live moment by streaming their show from London Fashion Week. By using Twitter as both the first and second screen experience, @Burberry’s Twitter followers can watch, share and engage with the show as it happens.'
