Good news, DWTS fans: you now have the power to influence the pairing of celebrities and pro dancers on “Dancing with the Stars” (@DancingABC). For the first time, Twitter users can affect the fate of the dancers by casting a vote within a Tweet for an element of the show called “The Switch Up”, which requires all couples to switch partners.
To vote, tweet using #DWTS, followed by the first name of the celebrity and the first name of the professional dancer. For example, to pair up Meryl Davis and Derek Hough, use the Tweet “#DWTS Meryl Derek”. You can also can go to http://abc.go.com/dwts/switch to vote.
Twitter voting for The Switch Up remains open until Monday, March 31 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The new dance pairings will be revealed live on the following week’s show, Monday, April 7.
