Today, @TwitterAU is announcing a partnership with Amplify (@thisisamplify) — Australia’s leading new media festival — to help fans get the ‘Twitter experience’ in person.
@thisisamplify will bring the Internet’s biggest, brightest and best local and international personalities together in Australia to meet and perform live for fans on a massive national tour in April. Only launched last week, the #AmplifyLIVE hashtag has already trended number one globally as a result of excited conversation from fans.
The tour features a wide range of exciting talent with a combined Twitter following of more than 8.5 million who will be on the edge of their seats awaiting @thisisamplify live Tweets and selfies from their idols. Those announced so far include:

As the perfect tour for the connected generation to get closer to their favourite celebrity Twitter users, fans have also been Tweeting their excitement about #AmplifyLIVE.
As part of the promoting the tour to their followers, @thisisamplify has been having a lot of fun with Twitter’s GIF-posting functionality.
The partnership will see activations at #AmplifyLIVE in each city the tour visits. This will include #OnlyOnTwitter Q&As with talent, a Vine 360 Booth, most commonly seen on the red carpet at VIP events like the ARIA Awards, American Music Awards, BRIT Awards and Twitter Mirrors, to give talent and fans a completely unique perspective that can only be experienced at @thisisamplify.
