The 2016 Iowa Caucuses, in Tweets

Last night, Iowans turned out for the first-in-the-nation caucus in record numbers, and the results came down to the wire.

To indicate that they had participated in the democratic process, many Iowans showed off their digital ‘I Voted’ sticker by Tweeting with the #iCaucused emoji:

Iowans have been exchanging ideas, discussing issues and Tweeting about each of the presidential candidates during the entire 2016 election season. In the seven days leading up to last night, we took a look at which candidates were generating the most discussion:
