The Billboard Trending 140: July 1-7

@rihanna’s music video for “Bitch Better Have My Money” (#BBHMM) helped bring her to the #2 spot on the Top Popular Tracks. Around the time of the video’s premiere, it was announced that @rihanna had become the first artist to earn 100 million Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) gold and platinum certifications. #BBHMM is among the tracks certified.

@Eminem released a video for his track “Phenomenal,” helping him land the #9 spot on the Top Popular Tracks. The song is the first single off the soundtrack from Southpaw, a film out in the U.S. in late July.

@ddlovato’s single “Cool for the Summer” took the #2 spot on the Top Debut chart. “Cool for the Summer” is the lead single off her upcoming fifth studio album. To promote for her new track, @ddlovato hosted a series of pool parties, including one in Chicago where @nickjonas showed up.
