U2 debuts the making of #SongsOfInnocence on Twitter

Today on Twitter, the legendary Irish band @U2 treated rock fans to a never-before-seen video that captures the making of their thirteenth studio album #SongsOfInnocence.

This morning, @U2 brought their followers behind the music and shared a first look at how “Songs of Innocence” came together.

As of this year, music fans have sent over 9 million Tweets mentioning @U2 and their timeless hits.

Earlier this week, U2 made their album available to more than half a billion people in 119 countries on @iTunes.

To celebrate the surprise release of their long-awaited album, the band asked fans to Tweet 140-character album reviews.

The featured five-time Grammy award winning producer Steve Lillywhite (@Sillywhite) also invited feedback from listeners on Twitter.

Fans from every corner of the globe joined the “Songs of Innocence” discussion and Tweeted their reactions directly to @U2. Here are five Tweets from music fans in Ireland, Spain, South Africa, Australia and Brazil:
