When the Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards (@NickelodeonTV) took place on Saturday, fans connected on Twitter to get in on all the fun behind the scenes. Between all of the silly (and hilarious) moments during the telecast, more than 2.1 million Tweets were sent, according to Nielsen SocialGuide data.
Before the show, Twitter was buzzing with 6-second videos from the Orange Carpet Vine 360 Booth; when the show was live, fans got inside access through the Twitter Mirror, which tweeted candid shots of celebrities backstage.
As celebrities took selfies through the Twitter Mirror during the show, fans got in the action as presenters @TiaMowry and @DebbyRyan made an on-air call to action for viewers to take selfies with hashtag #KCASelfie.
