Today, we are announcing an advertising solution that makes it easy for small businesses to set up an advertising account on their own and amplify their messages on Twitter. Whether it’s an independent bookstore or an online jewelry retailer, small businesses will soon be able to easily build a larger base of engaged followers by promoting their accounts. They can also feature promotions and messages more prominently in their customers’ Twitter timelines, and find new customers by promoting Tweets.

Twitter Advertising for Small Business

We have teamed up with American Express to give its Cardmembers and merchants based in the U.S., early access to this new small business solution, which launches in late March. The first 10,000 eligible Cardmembers and merchants will receive $100 in free Twitter advertising, courtesy of American Express. 

Starting today, American Express Cardmembers or merchants who are interested in the $100 of free advertising can register for this opportunity here: In March, American Express will begin notifying the first 10,000 eligible businesses on how to get started.
