Five million tweets and 600 miles later, the @gov team has landed in Charlotte, ready for another week of speeches, dancing delegates and convention kitsch at #DNC2012. We’ve launched a new event page, Twitter.com/#DNC2012, where you’ll find Tweets about the presidential election straight from the Queen City.
The page will highlight insider views from Obama campaign staffers, featured DNC speakers, Charlotte organizers, delegates and members of the press. Leading up to the opening gavel and tonight’s speeches, it will bring those of you who can’t be here in Charlotte closer to the planning that goes into this quadrennial rite:
