Twitter and the Bengaluru FC (@BengaluruFC) launched a series of press conferences on Twitter this week and through the rest of the football season.
India’s reigning champions and one of the most loved football teams, Bengaluru FC, will be leveraging Twitter’s Q&A app to take questions with #AskTheBlues press conference style a day before every match with fans.
The activation offers fans a unique and personal opportunity to ask their favourite football team burning questions in real-time, and captures the fun and personality of the team and players through the experience. We did the first Q&A with India’s most followed footballer and Bengaluru FC captain Sunil Chhetri (@chetrisunil11), who candidly answered questions and even said how much he enjoyed this session over the regular press conferences.
Bringing the Q&A to life in an easy to watch format, @BengaluruFC created a Twitter Moment out of it.
Check out the reactions from the session:
And we’ll leave the last word to the West Block Blues, who of course have their own Twitter account and coined the hashtag #FanPressCon
