From September 1 to September 30, some of the world’s biggest stars will take to the stage at the Camden Roundhouse for the #itunesfestival, with Twitter bringing music fans closer to the action.
Fifty-two out of the 53 acts confirmed to play this year’s festival have official Twitter accounts, with many breaking news of their participation in the event on Twitter:

Granting fans behind-the-scenes access
Just like last year the iTunes Festival will play host to the #TwitterMirror, which will bring exclusive images from backstage at the Roundhouse straight to the timeline of music fans worldwide:
The @iTunesFestival account will also be taking you direct into the venue with live snippets of each gig made available through Twitter. Simply follow the account and watch for the tweets as the shows start.
Fans will also be invited to interact directly with many of the stars playing the festival as the @iTunesFestival account is taken over by the musicians themselves in exclusive Q&A sessions. Keep an eye on the account for more details and surprises as the month continues.
