Tonight was the biggest night in the UK music calendar - the BRIT Awards. Stars and fans alike gathered to watch star-studded performances from top acts, and find out who would pick up the coveted statuettes.

And when it came to the conversation on Twitter, the event was more talked about than ever before, with the awards trending across the UK throughout the day and during the live TV broadcast.
