Music lovers have been coming to Twitter for years to engage in the worldwide conversation around THE IHEARTRADIO MUCH MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS (#MMVAs). Now, we are joining forces with Much and iHeartRadio Canada on our first ever Canadian live streaming deal.
This Sunday June 18 between 6:30-8:00pm ET, music lovers will be able to watch an #MMVAs live stream pre-show, exclusively on Twitter. Hosted by Much creators Dan Rodo (@TheDanocracy), Marlon Palmer (@ThatDudeMCFLY), Alayna Fender (@MissFenderr) and Michael Rizzi (@MikeRizzi), this action-packed live stream program will feature interviews and appearances from #MMVAs hosts, performers and presenters.
This exclusive live stream program will be available to music lovers globally, only on Twitter, at MMVAs.twitter.com.
In recent years, Twitter has become an essential part of the award show experience for millions of Canadians. 3 in 4 Canadian Twitter users interested in awards shows see Twitter as the best place to follow along with the action while 74% of these users view Twitter as the place to find out about winners as they’re announced.
Our new deal with the #MMVAs will take that Twitter award show experience to the next level.
The 2017 #MMVAs will be co-hosted by Alessia Cara (@alessicacara) and Joe Jonas (@JoeJonas), and will feature appearances by many of Twitter’s most followed stars from the worlds of music, film and television.
