#TVTwitterPlays: how the #ImACelebrityAU finale unfolded

Twitter powered last night’s exciting #ImACelebrityAU season finale as fans Tweeted to help crown Brendan Fevola (@BrendanFevola25) as 2016’s “King of the Jungle”.

Twitter is the ideal way to engage fans around live TV events, and #ImACelebrityAU harnessed this throughout the series with Twitter voting to help determine the winner. Last night, fans were able to show their support by Tweeting #CelebBrendan or Retweeting any Tweet containing the hashtag.



Once @BrendanFevola25 was announced as this year’s winner, Twitter saw a burst of congratulations messages from stars Tweeting along.



Brendan himself then turned to Twitter to thank his fans for their support throughout the series, before engaging with an exclusive Q&A with fans to share his experiences.
