Happy Birthday Your Majesty: Twitter Creates Crown Emoji To Celebrate #Queenat90

With Australia and the UK getting ready to celebrate the Queen’s official birthday this weekend, Twitter have created a crown emoji so users can congratulate Her Majesty on the platform.

To share your birthday wishes with Queen Elizabeth II, simply Tweet the following hashtags to trigger the crown emoji from 3pm AEST on Friday 10th June:

“With the Monarch celebrating such a milestone birthday, we wanted to enable Twitter users to mark the occasion in a truly special way on the platform” said Twitter’s UK MD Dara Nasr. “The crown emoji represents The Queen’s lifelong commitment and reflects people’s love and admiration for her on this special birthday. We can’t wait for users to share their messages and join the conversation on Twitter during the celebrations this weekend.”
