.@CodySimpson pays it forward to a young Aussie musician

Award-winning Australian singer/songwriter and global superstar @CodySimpson is making dreams come true. After meeting a young singer from the Central Coast of New South Wales, Cody has offered him the gig of a lifetime.

In what might just be his big break, 14-year-old @FletcherPilon will hit the stage as a supporting act for both ‘Twitter Presents’ Cody Simpson concerts. Fletch is more used to busking on the Central Coast, but now he’ll be touring with one of the world’s — and Twitter’s — biggest stars in what will be Cody’s first ever headline gig.

To mark the release of his new album, “Free,” @TwitterAU and @ANZ_AU are working together to bring Cody back to Australia for two exclusive homecoming shows this August and fans have been going crazy for the last two weeks trying to get their hands on tickets via @channelvhits.

Those tickets have all been snatched up — but now, thanks to @ANZ_AU, you can win the last few remaining by entering their #IWantTheJob contest.

For Cody’s fans across Australia that missed out on tickets, the Sydney show will be live streamed thanks to [V] HITS on Saturday 8 August at 8.30pm on vmusic.com.au. The following day, [V] HITS will broadcast CODY SIMPSON LIVE, a one-hour television special event highlighting the best moments from Cody’s intimate Twitter and ANZ Presents concerts premiering on Sunday 9 August at 5pm, only on Foxtel.
