As the competition of @thexfactor_au live stages shows plays out on screen, the only place to get real-time access backstage is on Twitter. Behind-the-scenes during every live episode, the judges are taking to Twitter to drum up support, while the contestants are using the Twitter Mirror to show off their personalities and and thank their fans for support.
As @thexfactor_au season five enters the final straight, we take a look back at some of our favourite access all-areas moments on Twitter so far.
Contestants counted down to the beginning of the show.
Younger Than Yesterday thanked their fans for their support.
XOX unveiled their signature hand sign.
Brothers 3 shared a sneak peak of the artist they were about to sing.
Contestants took a selfie to wrap up the end of the show.
The judges also Tweet to give us a peek into their friendships and rivalries.
In addition to getting the inside scoop on their on-stage relationships, judges @redfoo, @danniiminogue, @nataliebassing and @ronanofficial have been using Twitter to generate support for their acts. As we’ve seen from other talent shows, using Twitter is an effective platform to drive voting.
In addition to wishing each other well and revealing a more personal side, contestants are also showing the preparations that go into each performance, and thanking fans, even if they’ve left the show.
With the competition getting fiercer every week, be sure to follow along on Twitter to get the real-time backstage scoop on everything @thexfactor_au.
